I'm going to Strawberry Fields, where nothing is real.
Two weeks ago, I visited the eye doctor for the first time in 11 years. Needless to say, my vision changed and now I have glasses. I don't have to wear them all the time, mainly for driving or reading, but it feels good to actually be able to see! My left eye is significantly worse than my right, apparently one is near sighted and the other far sighted, it always takes me a moment to adjust the first few seconds I put on my glasses.Zach and I went to Interlochen last weekend. I saw some old friends and we met with Riccy for lunch before we left. It was nice to see everyone and weird going back.
After we returned from Interlochen, we stayed at the condo for a couple nights. We hung out with Liz on Saturday and she bought me hot pink sheets for my dorm next year, Sex and the City (The Movie), and the 2nd season of Sex and the City. Apparently she thinks I'm going to be bored out of my mind in Vermont with no internet or TV and wanted to help out. Very sweet of her :)
I'm back at Oberlin now and next week I'm driving to Vermont. Zach is borrow his dad's girlfriend, Kate's, car because it is an automatic (Honda Fit) and I'm driving the car back while he follows me on his motorcycle. I've never driven so far so I'm a little nervous but we're breaking it up into two days (which helps, but still around 6-7 hours of driving a day). I really like the car though!
It's been a very Beatley day. I can't seem to get the Beatles out of my head and I've been listening to them all day. (Currently "A Day in the Life")
